Elbit Systems Joins IFBEC

Elbit Systems has been selected as the 24th company of the International Forum on Business Ethical Conduct (IFBEC). The organization demands that companies involved in it meet the rules of business ethics and corporate governance.

Charlie Chedwick, CEO of IFBEC, said that "We are pleased with Elbit Systems' decision to join the global discourse concerning issues of ethics in the defensive field. We appreciate Elbit's commitment to the world's ethical principles and expect that it will lead and promote the organization's principles."

Attorney David Block Temin, VP at Elbit Systems and head of the company’s corporate governance branch, which will represent the company in IFBEC, said: “We are proud to be the first Israeli company to belong with this esteemed organization. Our membership in the organization emphasizes Elbit Systems' longstanding commitment to ethics in all of the company’s fields of activity.”

The purpose of IFBEC is to promote and nurture ethical standards, by way of international principles, among the defense, aviation and space industries around the world and to share information and recommended work methods in the field of business ethics. Leading companies in the field of defense, aviation and space in the US and in Europe are among the members of the organization.
